Learning Search Skills Filter - View All Skills
Prior to this enhancement, learners could only access up to 50 skills at a time. While the current filter effectively shows the skills with the most matches, learners often search for a specific skill or skills to filter from.
With this enhancement, the learners can search, view all skills, and apply any skill as a filter to choose which skills they want to view explicitly. It helps learners quickly access and find the specific skill they seek. It also allows them to see all the training associated with that skill in the catalog.
On the Learning Search page, once a user clicks View all skills modal shows all active skills in the portal.

In this modal, the user can search the list and select the skill or skills they are interested in. Selected Skills are presented at the top of the flyout and can be removed anytime. Once the user saves their choices, the flyout is closed, and the user is presented with an updated search result with the selected Skills.

How Does this Enhancement Benefit My Organization?
Learners can now filter on any skill they are interested in finding training in rather than being limited to a maximum of 50 skills per search.

The user will be shown an empty state, asking to update their search. At this time, a user can change their filters or remove an added filter.
Yes. The filter used on Learning Search is dynamic. This means that it only shows options to the user that will produce a search result or have matches to the current search query. If a filter is removed, there would have been zero matching results.
The Skills Filter is configurable in Learning Search Preferences. To ensure you can see the Skills Filter, navigate to Enable Filter by Skills (Capabilities) toggle to enable it.
. Scroll down to Filter by Skills (Capabilities) and turn on theThere are two reasons why the Skills (Capabilities) filter does not show on Learning Search. Either no content that has been tagged with Skills (Capabilities) is available to that user, or no content in the search results has Skills (Capabilities) tagged to it. Please note that to view the "View All" link, at least 1 Active Skill must match the search results.
