Ability to perform learning data loads using Data Load Wizard will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the February ‘22 Release, at which point defects will no longer be fixed and Data Load Wizard learning loads will no longer be visible or accessible in customer portals. Learning Assessments (Open Beta) Enhancements Yes

Learning Assessments are a reimagining of the legacy Test Engine experience. The first phase of this multi-release project was introduced with the February ’20 Release, and Learning Assessments functionality has continued to evolve during subsequent releases.

With the July '21 release, the expansion of the Learning Assessments open beta continues with the addition of assessment versioning.

This enhancement will be available with a post-release patch.

Microsoft Teams Learning in the Flow of Work Integration

The Microsoft Teams "Learning in the Flow of Work" integration brings the Cornerstone Learning catalog directly to learners in their key productivity application. With this enhancement, Microsoft Teams users can add a chatbot to Teams that lets them search for and share training, all linked to the Cornerstone portal. Learners can also receive notifications about training with upcoming due dates.

This integration enables users to interact with learning content from within Teams and includes the ability to:

  • Receive a welcome message with instructions on how to use the Learn Bot

  • End users and instructors can launch MS Teams sessions through the Learning Management System
  • Attendance information can be retrieved
  • Multi-part sessions are created with each session part as a separate meeting in MS Teams

  • Virtual meetings can be managed for multiple accounts

Standardize Curriculum Completion Date Logic Opt-in until Oct '21

With this enhancement, the logic for the designation of curriculum completion dates has been standardized across various training completion scenarios in the Learning Management System (LMS). The general rule is that the date of curriculum completion will be the date the user completed the last child training item within the curriculum.

This functionality is in an Early Adopter status with the July '21 release, and organizations can choose to opt-in at this time. With the October '21 release, all portals will have the standardized curriculum completion date logic automatically enabled.

vILT Connector (Early Adopter) Enhancements Yes

With this enhancement:

  • When adding a new vILT integration, the integration ID will be automatically generated and no action will be required from the administrator to populate this information.
  • When adding a new vILT integration or when accessing the Edge Integration Center to manage an existing vILT integration, the Delete icon is no longer available. If an organization needs to remove an existing vILT integration that has already been configured, the best practice is to inactivate the vILT integration. This inactivates the vILT provider in the Learning Management System without resulting in a loss of the vILT integration data in the database.
WITHDRAW.SESSION.LINK Email Tag Available in "Session Changed" Email Yes With this enhancement, the WITHDRAW.SESSION.LINK email tag is now available in the Session Changed email. When included in a Session Changed email sent to learners, any learners who receive the email can quickly access the page to withdraw from the session.

Recruiting Features

Feature Name Automatically Enabled? Description
Candidate and Recruiter Accessibility Enhancements Yes

Enhancements are being made across multiple areas of the Recruiting solution to ensure that candidates and recruiters who are using screen readers can perform the same actions as those who are not using one.

Additional accessibility enhancements will be included as part of the July '21 release, and release notes may be updated during user acceptance testing as these enhancements become available.

Deprecation of IBM Kenexa Recruiting Assessment Integration   IBM has discontinued support of the IBM Kenexa Recruiting Assessment Integration that is currently available through Cornerstone’s Edge Marketplace. Email on Manage Candidates (Early Adopter) Self-enabled via Feature Activation Preferences With this enhancement, a new Send Email option is added to the More drop-down on Manage Candidates and to the options menu on the applicant carousel. This option lets you email an individual candidate directly from Manage Candidates. Replies can be sent and received from your email provider. A history of the emails can be viewed on the applicant carousel on Manage Candidates.
Manage Candidates - Display Additional Candidate Types Yes With this enhancement, additional candidate types will now appear on Manage Candidates. This helps to ensure recruiters are able to access and manage these candidates for their requisitions. This should also reduce confusion created from having one number of candidates on the Manage Requisitions page and a different number on Manage Candidates.
Manage Candidates - Performance Optimization for New Candidates Yes

With this enhancement, a new backend process enables new candidate records to appear on Manage Candidates more quickly in the following scenarios:

Reset Candidate Password Enhancement Yes

With this enhancement, when a candidate password is reset, the system will now validate that the new password is unique and does not duplicate a previously used password for the account. Prior to this enhancement, there was no such validation when a candidate's password was reset.

Upon implementation, this enhancement is on by default for customers that have a default password set for their portal; this will be a phased rollout by swimlane and will follow the same rollout schedule as the Default Password Management enhancement. Customers that do not have a default password set for their portal will not be impacted by this enhancement.

Resume Snapshot Yes

With this enhancement, candidate application data will now reliably reflect the application data as it is submitted. This means that parsed resume fields will no longer be overwritten by subsequent application’s resumes. Universal Profile resume data will continue to reflect the most recently submitted application resume. The parsed fields will now always be updated to match the submitted resume. Any updates will be visible across the candidate's applications, as well as in any applicable fields on the Universal Profile.
