In addition, compensation managers and approvers can filter the users within the compensation plan by position. Compensation Standard Reports - Support Custom Wage Types Compensation Standard Reports - Support Custom Wage Types  

With this enhancement, the following standard reports are updated to utilize custom wage types:

Employee Salary Management and Individual Targets - View Permissions Employee Salary Management and Individual Targets - View Permissions   With this enhancement, organizations can now grant administrators permission to view Individual Targets or Employee Salary Management. This enables administrators to view the compensation data without being able to edit the data.
Individual Adjustment Report - Export Most Recent Visible Draft Only Individual Adjustment Report - Export Most Recent Visible Draft Only   With this enhancement, the Individual Adjustment Report exports the most recently saved current draft of the compensation plan. A deleted draft cannot be exported in the Individual Adjustment Report.
Compensation Plan Sort Numerical Columns from High to Low Compensation Plan Sort Numerical Columns from High to Low   With this enhancement, when a numeric column in a compensation plan is sorted, the numeric values are initially sorted from high to low. This applies to all tabs within the compensation plan.

Reword Posting Reply Activity Update Reword Posting Reply Activity Update   With this enhancement, when a posting receives a reply and it appears on the Community and Live Feeds, the wording has been updated to avoid confusion. The activity will now show the posting author first, then the reply author when a root reply is added to a posting. The activity update now displays "[Posting Author] has received a reply to the [Posting Type]: [Posting Title]."

The Extended Themes provide an optimized experience on mobile devices for improved accessibility and meet WCAG/508 compliance standards.
Auto-Upgrade User Record in May '17 Release Auto-Upgrade User Record in May '17 Release   In the May '17 Release, all clients that have not self-activated the new User Record will automatically be upgraded.

Cornerstone HR - Encrypted Social Security Number and Date of Birth Fields Cornerstone HR - Encrypted Social Security Number and Date of Birth Fields Yes With this enhancement, organizations using Cornerstone HR can enter and store encrypted Social Security Number and Date of Birth fields on the user record. These fields are considered Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII). Administrators with the appropriate permissions can view the information as masked, unmasked, and edit the actual information after the SPII whitelisted IP addresses have been configured.
Cornerstone HR - User Record Redesign - Effective Dating Cornerstone HR - User Record Redesign - Effective Dating   With the redesigned User Record page, the Effective Dating functionality is enhanced to be more visual, intuitive, and easy to use. This enhanced functionality is only available when the redesigned User Record page is enabled.
Dashboard Error Message Dashboard Error Message   The word "Error" now displays at the bottom of a dashboard when the report for the dashboard fails to refresh.
Data Load Wizard - CHR - Support Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information Data Load Wizard - CHR - Support Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information   With this release, organizations using Cornerstone HR can enter and store encrypted Social Security Number and Date of Birth fields on the user record. These fields are considered Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII).
End of IE8 Support End of IE8 Support   In order to keep up with browser security requirements and the latest software enhancements, Cornerstone will discontinue support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 in February 2017. Please reach out to your IT department and make plans to convert to one of the compatible browsers prior to February 2017.
End of iOS8 and Android KitKat Support End of iOS8 and Android KitKat Support  

In order to keep up with security requirements and the latest software enhancements, Cornerstone will discontinue support for iOS8 and below as well as Android KitKat and below in February 2017. Please reach out to your IT department and make plans to upgrade mobile devices to one of the compatible versions prior to February 2017.

In general, Cornerstone supports the two most recent versions of iOS and the three most recent versions of Android.

Inline Help Inline Help   In an effort to extend our self-service tools to our System Administrators, an extension of Help will now live in-product and move with you, so you don’t have to navigate away from your portal for additional resources. Each piece of content is an extension of Cornerstone’s training library in the form of videos, walkthroughs, and downloadable content. This service does not require a change to Cornerstone’s application code and is available only on system administrator pages, giving you quick access to support you as you work through the portal.
Org Chart Org Chart   For organizations with Cornerstone HR, Succession, or View enabled, the org chart feature is updated with this enhancement. This feature is not available for organizations that do not have these products enabled.
Responsive Navigation Theme Responsive Navigation Theme   With this enhancement, a new Responsive Navigation Theme is available. The Responsive Navigation Theme is a new display theme that provides an optimized, intuitive interaction with the system on a mobile device. The theme displays the Navigation Tabs and Links as a fly-out on the right side of the screen that expands vertically. The Responsive Navigation Theme provides an improved experience when using a mobile device and is recommended for organizations that have users accessing the Cornerstone system via a mobile browser.
Retirement and Auto-Upgrade of Themes in May '17 Retirement and Auto-Upgrade of Themes in May '17   To provide an optimized experience on mobile devices for improved accessibility and to meet WCAG/508 compliance, Cornerstone is retiring the following themes in the May '17 Release: Standard, Modern, Polished, Sandstone, Classic, and Obsidian. If using one of these themes, the theme will be auto-upgraded to Contemporary Extended in the May '17 Release.
Time and Attendance Integration - Kronos SSO Time and Attendance Integration - Kronos SSO   With this enhancement, a new integration with Kronos Time & Attendance is now available in the Edge Integrate Marketplace.
Universal Profile Navigation Universal Profile Navigation   This functional change resolves a defect where navigation to Universal Profile occasionally did not reflect the sort order that is set in Universal Profile Preferences. When a user navigates to the Universal Profile of another user, the user is navigated to the user's default Universal Profile tab.
User Record Data Deletion via Anonymization (Beta) User Record Data Deletion via Anonymization (Beta) Invite-Only Beta With this enhancement, the User Record Data Deletion via Anonymization functionality is extended to include Development Plans and Skills Matrix data.
User Record Redesign User Record Redesign   With this enhancement, the User Record is redesigned and is now integrated in the user's Universal Profile. The interface is now modernized with a responsive design that can be viewed on a mobile device. Organizations can now grant administrators the ability to view a user's User Record without enabling the administrator to modify any portion of the User Record. For organizations using Cornerstone HR, Effective Dating user records is now more intuitive.
Web Services - GET Details - Time Zone Description (Update) Web Services - GET Details - Time Zone Description (Update) See Notes With this enhancement, full time zone descriptions are added to the GET Details web service in addition to the three letter time zone abbreviations, ensuring that exact time zones can be referenced for sessions.

Edge Integrate - Marketplace Edge Integrate - Marketplace No With this enhancement, Edge administrators are able to submit an online purchase inquiry, which expedites the purchasing and enablement process. Through this process, access to the API can be granted, and administrators then self-serve their API Key and Secret via the integration's Settings tab. They can also refer to the Setup Instructions and follow steps to use the API to build integrations. This provides administrators with a self-service experience which enables them to access integrations and related information more efficiently.

Course Recommendations - Full Rollout Course Recommendations - Full Rollout No With this release, Course Recommendations functionality is enabled for the Training Completion page in all portals. Course recommendations were previously only available to a limited number of portals via a preview program. With the full rollout of this enhancement, the Training Completion page can be configured to display additional training that is recommended to the user.
Curricula and Test Titles Fix Curricula and Test Titles Fix No With this enhancement, each version of a curriculum or test retains its original title and owner information, even when new versions of the test or curriculum are created. This enhancement allows administrators to better track previous versions of the curricula and tests in their portals, and this versioning behavior is also consistent with the versioning behavior of material learning objects (LOs).

With this enhancement, the proxy enrollment user interface (UI) has been redesigned to facilitate an easier, more intuitive proxy enrollment creation process, and administrators are now able to easily track and manage their proxy enrollment assignments from desktop computers, tablets, and other mobile devices.

Learning Assignment Tool - Dynamic Reassignment Learning Assignment Tool - Dynamic Reassignment No With this enhancement, dynamic reassignment can be enabled. This means that when a user changes organizational units (OUs), that user can be re-assigned the same training that a dynamic assignment has already attempted to assign to the user in the past, as long as they meet the assignment criteria.
Learning Assignment Tool - Enhanced Dynamic Removal Learning Assignment Tool - Enhanced Dynamic Removal No

With this enhancement, an additional Dynamic Removal option is available learning assignments. This new option allows administrators to remove in-progress training via Dynamic Removal. Administrators no longer need to manually remove in-progress training from users' transcripts when using the dynamic removal feature for learning assignments.

Learning Assignment Tool - Enhanced Training Removal - Curricula Learning Assignment Tool - Enhanced Training Removal - Curricula No

With this enhancement, administrators are able to automatically remove the child LOs of a curriculum from users' transcripts when removing a curriculum using any of the following training removal options:

  • Remove Training option (on the transcript)
Learning Assignment Tool Auto-Upgrade May '17 Learning Assignment Tool Auto-Upgrade May '17 No

In May 2017, all portals using Proxy Enrollment functionality to assign learning objects (LOs) to individual or large groups of users will be automatically upgraded to the Learning Assignment Tool. If administrators would like to activate the Learning Assignment Tool in their portals prior to May, they may do so via a self-service option on the Assignment Tool Preferences page.

Mobile - Course Player Enhancements Mobile - Course Player Enhancements  

With this enhancement, the following improvements have been made to the mobile course player:

  • The iframe is removed from the SCORM player so that the content can fully utilize the screen width. This also enables the content to load faster.
  • The wait time is reduced when closing or loading a course.
  • A preference is added to Course Catalog to enable AICC courses to open in an external browser. This is recommended for courses that require multiple windows.
Move Inactive Training to Archived Transcript Move Inactive Training to Archived Transcript No With this enhancement, administrators are able to create a rule on the Transcript Preferences page which allows them to configure automatic transfer of inactive training from all users' Active or Completed transcripts to their Archived transcripts on an ongoing basis. The entire Transcript Preferences page has also been converted to a new UI, but only the functionality for automatically moving training to the Archived transcript has been modified. The functionality of all other existing page features remains the same.
Offline Player on Transcript - Enablement Offline Player on Transcript - Enablement No With this enhancement, learners are able to download the latest version of the Offline Learning application directly from their transcript page. This enhancement makes the Offline Learning application much more accessible to users.
On the Job Training Section Added to Analytics On the Job Training Section Added to Analytics No With this enhancement, the On the Job Training fields released in October '16 are available for use with Custom Reports. A new On the Job Training section has been added to Transcript and Multi-Module custom reports, which contains the several new fields.
Online Course Timeout Enhancement Online Course Timeout Enhancement No

With this enhancement, when a user extends a course session, the timeout for the portal in the parent window is also extended, and the portal timeout message does not appear. When the user continues a course’s session, the session for the portal in the parent window is also extended.

Training Removal Tool Enhancements Training Removal Tool Enhancements No With this enhancement, the user limit for training removal jobs has been lifted, and training removal jobs can be created for an unlimited number of users. In addition, two columns for Create Date and Status have been added to the Training Removal Tool page.
Web Services - Session Roster - Pass Field (Update) Web Services - Session Roster - Pass Field (Update) See Notes With this enhancement, administrators using the Session Roster web service can specify whether or not a user passed the session when saving a session roster. A new Pass field can be selected to indicate that a user has passed the training requirements. Completion of this field is optional.
xAPI LRS Data Security xAPI LRS Data Security See Notes

With this enhancement, authorized administrators are able to securely send data to the LRS on behalf of other users and retrieve xAPI data from the LRS.

Performance Features

This enables administrators to easily access the Task ID in order to reference the performance review task. This value is not available when creating a performance review task because this value is only available once the performance review task has been created.
Feedback Requests in Universal Profile Feedback Requests in Universal Profile   With this enhancement, requests for feedback can be viewed from the Universal Profile > Actions. This enhancement streamlines the feedback process by reducing the amount of time it will take for users to access and respond to feedback requests.
Feedback Visibility Feedback Visibility   With this enhancement, a new Visibility section is added to the Feedback Preferences page, which enables administrators to configure which visibility options are available when a user requests feedback or provides unsolicited feedback for a user. Administrators can also configure which visibility options are selected by default. When providing unsolicited feedback or requesting feedback, users can select one or more visibility option.
Manager Requests Feedback on Behalf of Others Manager Requests Feedback on Behalf of Others   With this enhancement, managers and custom relationships now have the ability to request feedback on behalf of subordinates and custom relationships. In addition, administrators can configure the Feedback Provided Notification email trigger to be sent to the feedback requester. Lastly, the following email tag is added to the Feedback Request Notification email trigger: FEEDBACK.REQUEST.LINK.
Observation Checklist Approvals in Universal Profile Observation Checklist Approvals in Universal Profile   Approvers can now approve observation checklists from the Requests tab within Universal Profile > Actions.
Performance Review - Overall Review Status Update Performance Review - Overall Review Status Update   For performance review tasks that have a Reviewer Selection step as the first and optional step, if the optional Reviewer Selection step is not completed but the rest of the task is completed, then the Overall Review Status is "Complete." Prior to this enhancement, the incomplete Reviewer Selection step would cause the Overall Review Status to be Incomplete, even though the remainder of the task was complete.

Aon Assessment Integration Assessment Integration - Aon Hewitt (Edge)  

Utilizing Aon Assessment Integration, organizations using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) can make better hiring decisions, increase service scores, and recognize ATS return on investment (ROI) faster through Aon Assessments. The job-related tests and assessments can be configured as part of the application workflow or assigned ad hoc through the Manage Applicants page, allowing you to assess applicants on an as-needed basis.

Broadbean Migration to Edge Broadbean Migration to Edge   Broadbean is now available to activate and configure through the Edge Integrate Marketplace. It is no longer required to go through Global Customer Support to configure.
Hiring Dashboard Usability Enhancements Hiring Dashboard Usability Enhancements  

With this release, the following enhancements are made to the Hiring Dashboard:

  • Manage Settings - You can now rearrange the position of each section of the dashboard as well as hide sections from view, using a new Manage Settings option.
  • Applicants Over Time Chart - A chart is added to the New Submissions section to show the number of applicants over the most recent 9-month period.
  • Create Requisitions - Users with permission to manage requisitions can now access the ability to create new job requisitions directly from the dashboard. A New Requisition button is added to the Requisitions section. Clicking the button opens the Create Requisition page from which you can create a new requisition.
  • Create Requisition Requests - For users who have permission to create requisition requests but who do not have permission to create job requisitions, a New Requisition Request button displays instead of the New Requisition button. This option allows you to access the create requisition request pages from the dashboard.
  • Number of Requisitions to Display - An option is added to the Requisitions section that allows you to determine how many requisition rows to display in the section.
  • Status Filter - A status filter is added to the Requisitions section. The option allows you to filter the requisitions by status so that you only view the requisitions that are in the status in which you are interested in viewing.
Job Posting Redesign Job Posting Redesign   With this enhancement, the process of posting jobs in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is now on a separate job posting page. The new job posting page is outside of the existing job requisition pages and allows you to post jobs to career sites, job boards, recruiting agencies, and Career Center, as well as post jobs as smart referrals directly from the same page.
Status Change Date Adjustment Status Change Date Adjustment   With this enhancement, you can now manually adjust the date on which an applicant's status is changed. When an applicant's status is changed manually (on the Manage Applicants, Applicant Profile, New Submissions, Resume/CV Review, and Requisition History Pop-Up pages), an information icon now displays to indicate that the status was manually adjusted.
Web Services - Job Requisition - Add Hiring Manager (Update) Web Services - Job Requisition - Add Hiring Manager (Update) See Notes With this release the GET Job Requisition web service is enhanced to include a field for the hiring manager and a field for a Position organizational unit (OU). Users can populate the Add Hiring Manager field with an administrator-defined Manager ID, and administrators can also populate the Position OU field with an existing Position OU ID.
Web Services - Job Requisition - Address Information (Update) Web Services - Job Requisition - Address Information (Update) See Notes With this enhancement, the address information in the GET Job Requisition web service is separated into the separate sections.
WOTC Integration Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Integration - Tax Credit Co (TCC) (Edge)  

With this enhancement, you can now utilize WOTC Integration with Tax Credit Co. (TCC) to hire candidates that qualify for Work Opportunity Tax credits without having to manage the TCC submission and approval workflows separately. The TCC WOTC integration allows you to leverage TCC's legally sound WOTC qualifying screening tool as part of your application process.

Custom Reports - Recruiting Fields Custom Reports - Recruiting Fields   With this enhancement, new fields are added and existing fields are updated in Recruiting Custom Reports and Multi-Module Custom Reports.
