The Concern for Safety competency is out of date and is missing a new item. The competency is not included in a competency model. However, it is a locked qualification for the Soldering Machine role.

The administrator notices that the competency is version 1.0. The administrator edits the competency and adds the new competency item. The administrator submits the competency changes.

  • In the Competency Bank, the administrator notices that the Concern for Safety competency version has changed from 1.0 to 2.0.
  • In the Soldering Machine role, the administrator can see that the competency version number did not change, and is still version 1.0.

Competency Use Case - Use Case 2

The Achievement Orientation competency is out of date and is missing a new item. The competency is being used in the Core Competencies competency model, which is being used in the 2013 Core Competency Assessment, which is a locked task.

The administrator notices that the competency is version 1.0. The administrator edits the competency and adds the new competency item. The administrator submits the competency changes.

  • In the Competency Bank, the administrator notices that the Achievement Orientation competency version has changed from 1.0 to 2.0.
  • In the Competency Models page, the administrator can see that the Core Competencies competency model version has changed from 1.0 to 2.0.
  • In the 2013 Core Competency Assessment task, the administrator can see that the Core Competencies competency model version did not change, and is still version 1.0.

  • In the Competency Models page, the administrator can see that the Core Competencies competency model version did not change, and is still version 1.0.

The administrator edits the competency model and notices that the competency model is now using the Achievement Orientation competency version 2.0.

  • In the 2013 Core Checklist, the administrator can see that the Core Checklist task continues to use the Core Competencies competency model version 1.0. While the competency model version did not change in the checklist task, the checklist task is using the Achievement Orientation competency version 2.0.
