Refreshes to Content Anytime and a La Carte subscriptions occur every month. New titles are added to libraries monthly and removals occur quarterly. Content Anytime subscribers automatically receive subscription refreshes.

The new ADP Link Core Data Inbound Integration for French Marketplace provides a one-way synchronization of users and organizational unit (OU) data from your ADP Link Portal to your Cornerstone Portal. Use this integration to synchronize data on a daily schedule or on-demand.

This functionality is not available at the start of UAT.

Data Load Wizard - User Loads: Default Password Setting Enhancement Yes, a phased rollout With this enhancement, when a default password is enabled for a portal, then the checkbox “Assign default password to new users” will be checked and disabled, and radio buttons for Top Corporate Password or custom password will no longer display for Data Load Wizard User Loads. Users created via the Data Load Wizard User Load will have their password set per the default password preferences.
Default Password Management Yes, a phased rollout With this enhancement, a new Default Password Management tab will be visible on the existing Password Preferences page. Here, administrators can set a portal-wide default password, change the default password, and manage default password rules such as lifespan and expiration date. Furthermore, default passwords must comply with the password complexity rules defined on the General tab in Password Preferences. The Default Password Management feature is compatible with all interfaces involving user creation. The default password set in Default Password Management is applicable for any new user that is created. Administrators can use the Default Password Email Reminder Template in Email Administration to setup email reminders to be notified prior to default password expiration.
Deprecation of Compensation Loads for Data Load Wizard (DLW) to Begin with the November '22 Release   The ability to perform Compensation loads using Data Load Wizard (DLW) will begin to be deprecated with the November 2022 Release. Data Load Wizard Compensation loads and feeds include Employee Salary, Salary Structure and Individual Targets.
Deprecation of Custom Reports to Begin in August 2022   The deprecation of Custom Reports is targeted to start with phase 1 occurring in the August ’22 Release. This target date gives customers time to prepare and to complete their migration to Reporting 2.0. In the meantime, Cornerstone will also continue to further enhance Reporting 2.0.
Deprecation of Learning Loads for Data Load Wizard (DLW) with the May '22 Release   Ability to perform learning data loads using Data Load Wizard will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the May ‘22 Release. Defects will no longer be fixed, and Data Load Wizard Learning Loads will no longer be visible or accessible in customer portals.
Deprecation of Reporting 2.0 Word and XML Export Formats with the May '22 Release   Word and XML report export formats are being deprecated with the May ’22 Release as part of the larger initiative to deprecate the use of SSRS. Customers exporting or downloading their Reporting 2.0 reports in Word and/or XML formats are encouraged to switch to any of the other available formats in advance of the May ‘22 deprecation.
Deprecation of Users and Organizational Unit (OU) Loads and Feeds for Data Load Wizard (DLW) to Begin with the May '22 Release   Ability to perform Users and OU data loads and feeds using Data Load Wizard (DLW) will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the May ‘22 Release for most customers. End-of-support for most customers occurred in the February ‘22 Release and support for defects related to DLW Users and OU loads and feeds also stopped at this time.
Developer Portal Preview   Cornerstone is excited to share that with the August '22 release, the current API Explorer will be replaced with a new Developer Portal. A preview will be available in a post-release patch.
Edge Import - Learning Load Enhancement (ILT Events and ILT Sessions Loads) Yes, when using Edge Import

New optional fields are added to the Instructor Led Training (ILT) Events load and the Instructor Led Training Sessions load. These new fields allow for updating of the Event ID and Session ID.

This feature was released as part of the 25 March 2022 patch.

Edge Import - Learning Load Enhancements (Online Content Metadata Load) Yes, when using Edge Import

With this enhancement, the following fields in the OLCO Metadata load are changed from Required to Optional:

  • Online Content Name
  • Online Content Description
  • Thumbnail URL

With this enhancement, the following fields in the OLCO Metadata load were previously Required, and they are now removed from the data load:

  • Vendor/Provider
  • Provider Type
  • URL

This feature was released as part of the 25 March 2022 patch.

Linking Similar Skills Yes With the May ’22 Release, administrators now have an option to manually link their custom skill to a similar skill in the Cornerstone Skills Graph, ensuring this skill will appear in suggestions and will feed learning recommendations.
May '22 Language Pack Updates Yes New updates to Cornerstone Language Packs and additional languages are available with the May '22 Release. Please visit the May '22 Language Pack Updates posting to review the full list of changes and their targeted availability in stage and production environments.
New Standard Report - Reporting 2.0 Delivery Log Yes

Customers will be able to see the status and a log of their report deliveries via a new Standard Report, Reporting 2.0 Delivery Log. Scheduled reports that are sent to an FTP or sent through email will be included. The report will show entries for reports that have either been delivered successfully or for which delivery has failed. When generation and delivery is still in progress for a certain report, this report will not be included in the delivery log output. This report supports 100,000 rows of data and will include several filter options.

New Standard Report - Reporting 2.0 Report Details Yes A new standard report is available to System Administrators which will allow admins to extract a list showing all reports that have been created within the portal. The report will be available within the System section of Standard Reports. It will include several filter options and the maximum number of rows supported is 100,000​. Because this is an Admin report, the report will not be constrainable.
Relationship Diagrams for Data Exporter API Yes

Customers who use the Data Exporter API (DE API) gain the ability to generate diagrams that show the relationship between objects in an instant, without the need to navigate lengthy text documents.

Using a new endpoint, developers and integrations specialist can choose a mode (Basic, Detail, or Relations) and add the names of the objects to generate diagrams that illustrate the relationship between those objects, saving time and lessening effort.

Reporting 2.0 - Additional Fields Yes

The following additions and updates have been made to Reporting 2.0 fields with this release:

  • Cornerstone Learning - Learning
  • Cornerstone Learning - Training Capabilities
  • Cornerstone Careers
Reporting 2.0 - Custom Report Migration Tool Enhancements Yes
  • Ability to migrate reports for others.
  • Ability to select/deselect all reports shown in the tool.
  • "Last Imported" information for each report.
  • New filter options to select:
    • All Custom Reports that have already been imported into Reporting 2.0.
    • All Custom Reports that have not been imported into Reporting 2.0 yet.
    • All Custom Reports with errors.

This feature will be released with the 13 May 2022 patch.

Reporting 2.0 - Report Level Permission Model (Open Beta)

Self-activation in Stage

Opt-in by using the migration tool to migrate to the new permission model

A new Reporting 2.0 Report Level Permission Model is available in stage as an Open Beta, in addition to the already existing Reporting 2.0 Granular Permission Model. Customers can choose whether to keep the existing Reporting 2.0 granular permissions, or to start using the new, simpler, report level permissions. Additionally, a Reporting 2.0 Permissions Enablement Tool is provided to help customers validate how permissions will be migrated and decide how to continue.

Switching to the new model is optional, migration options and validation tools will be available to support customers with the initial setup.

This enhancement is not available during UAT.

RTDW Updates to Reporting API, RDW, and Data Exporter Yes There are no new or deprecated objects for the May '22 Release.
Security Health Check - Additional Settings Yes

With our May '22 release we have introduced 10 additional values to the Security Health Check tool. Plus we have introduced the concept of a Warning status.

Skill Feedback Assignment Yes With this enhancement, when creating feedback requests, the request creator has the option to assign specific users to receive the feedback request. Otherwise, if the request is not assigned to any specific users, the request can be shared with anyone using the sharable link.
Skills Profile Enhancements Yes

Based on user feedback, the Skills Profile is updated with the following enhancements:

  • When recommending skills in the Suggested Skills section of the Skills Profile, the system considers completed transcript data when providing recommendations.
  • A new preference enables administrators to control whether newly detected skills are imported into the Capability Library.
Skills Quick Start Wizard Yes

With this enhancement, a new Skills Quick Start Wizard is now available. The Skills Quick Start Wizard administrator experience guides administrators through the key steps of implementing or optimizing their Skills framework. The experience provides detailed text that explains concepts and best practices, and it provides links to useful resources and Capability administrative tools. Each step is automatically marked complete as administrators progress through the wizard, tracking progress towards completion.

Even if an organization has already enabled Capabilities, the Skills Quick Start Wizard can still be launched to refine the existing configuration or learn about new concepts and features that may not be in use with the current deployment.

Content Skills Tagging allows administrators to leverage Cornerstone's AI to have their learning catalog auto-tagged with skills from the Cornerstone Skills Graph, leverage Reporting 2.0 to review tagged skills, and update the tagging in bulk via Edge Import. This is accomplished via a new Content Skills Tagging tab on the Capabilities Preferences page.

Curriculum Child Training - Retain Due Date Upon Removal Enable via self-activation With this enhancement, administrators can enable a preference that will cause the due date of completed training items within one or more curricula to be retained when the curriculum is removed from the user's transcript.
Deprecation of Learning Loads for Data Load Wizard (DLW) with the May '22 Release  

Ability to perform learning data loads using Data Load Wizard will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the May ‘22 Release. Defects will no longer be fixed, and Data Load Wizard Learning Loads will no longer be visible or accessible in customer portals.

Deprecation of the Microsoft Lync Integration with the May '22 Release   Cornerstone is deprecating the Microsoft Lync Integration with the May ’22 Release. This integration is not currently available in Edge Marketplace and the Microsoft Lync product is no longer supported by Microsoft.
Edge Import - Training Capabilities Load Yes, after Content Skills tagging has been enabled The new LO Capabilities load in Edge Import can be used by administrators to bulk add, reject, or reject all skills that were tagged to each training.
Edit Learning Assignment (LAT) Due Dates and Titles

Yes

With this enhancement, administrators can edit the due dates of dynamic learning assignments and the titles of both standard and dynamic assignments, even after the assignments have been submitted. Being able to make minor edits to learning assignments can help administrators save time, as they will not always need to create a whole new assignment to accommodate changes to titles and due dates.

Enhancements to the Ability to Remove Self-Requested Training Yes

With the May '22 release, end users can now remove self-requested training that was versioned by an administrator after the user requested it. This functionality was made available with some limitations in Stage with the February '22 release, and it will be available in both Stage and Production with the May '22 release.

Enhancements to the Manager Ability to Remove Directly Assigned Training Yes

With the May '22 release, managers can remove training they assigned to a user from the user's transcript even if the training was versioned after the manager assigned it, or even if the training has multiple registration numbers since its initial assignment, if all registrations were from the training being directly-assigned or self-requested. If previous registrations were from the Learning Assignment Tool or an administrator assignment, managers will not be able to remove the training. This functionality was made available with some limitations in Stage with the February '22 release, and it will be available in both Stage and Production with the May '22 release.

Export Create Tool Course Yes

With the May ’22 Release, customers can access Create Tool content they have created and download it in SCORM 1.2 format. SCORM 1.2 is a widely-used content portability standard supported by most major Learning Management System (LMS) players. Customers using the newer version of the Create Tool will see a new Export option under the Actions menu on the Create Tool main page.

This enhancement is not available during UAT. This enhancement will only be made available in Production portals.

Learning Guardrails - Curriculum Deletion Confirmation Message Yes

With this enhancement, a confirmation message has been added to Curricula Administration, which requires administrators to confirm that they really want to delete a curriculum. When the administrator selects the Delete icon next to a curriculum on the Curricula Administration page, the new confirmation message appears. The curriculum will only be deleted if the administrator confirms the deletion.

Manage Events & Sessions - Optimized Search Experience Yes

With the Feb ’22 Release, the search functionality on the Manage Events and Session page in Stage environments began to utilize “elastic search” technology on the backend when the Search for all Events option is selected. During the Feb '22 Release, this functionality was in a beta status and was available in Stage portals only.

With the May '22 Release, parts of the beta enhancement will be made available in Production portals.

Microsoft Teams vILT Integration Enhancement Yes

With this enhancement, the attendance formula for Microsoft Teams vILT sessions has been updated. Now, users' attendance will be calculated based on the actual run time of the session.

Reporting Fields - Learning Yes

With the May '22 Release, the following updates have been made to Reporting 2.0:

  • New source information fields have been added to help administrators link sessions to their parent events
  • New certification creation fields have been added to allow administrators to report on who created a certification and when
  • The Vendor section added to Reporting 2.0 in Feb '22 has been removed. The new Vendor fields added to Reporting 2.0 during the Feb '22 release have been moved to the Training Provider section of Reporting 2.0
  • The Vendor Name and Vendor Active fields added to Reporting 2.0 in Feb '22 have been removed because the existing Training Provider and Training Provider Active fields capture the same information
Reporting Fields - Training Capabilities Yes, after Content Skills tagging has been enabled

The Training Capabilities report field section is only available in Reporting 2.0 when Content Skills Tagging has been enabled in the portal. The Training Capabilities section is a subsection of the Training section in Reporting 2.0.

Session Location on Learning Details Flyout Yes

With this enhancement, when the address for a session is part of a location hierarchy, learners still see the location hierarchy, but they will now see the address of the session's actual location on the Session Details flyout instead of the address of the top node in the location hierarchy. For example, if the session location is part of the EMEA > France > Paris hierarchy, the address that displays to the learner is the Paris location address.

SF-182 Request Management Enhancements Yes

With the May '22 release, the following enhancements have been made to SF-182 form functionality:

  • A new preference to leverage digital signature generation on SF-182 forms if SSO is used has been added
  • Two new preferences to allow editing of approved and completed forms have been added
  • The SF-182 Request Management page defaults to displaying requests that are in a Pending Approval status
  • Approvers can now mark training complete in bulk from the SF-182 Request Management page
  • Approvers can bulk remove items from the SF-182 Request Management page.
  • It is now possible to view training details for SF-182 requests from the SF-182 Request Management page
  • It is now possible to add completion documents from the Training Details page and during bulk completions
  • A new SF-182 Form Completion Documentation Submitted email trigger is now available
  • The following additional filters are available on the SF-182 Request Management page:
    • Date
    • Division/Location/Users
    • Inactive/Active Users
    • View Removed
  • The following new columns have been added to the SF-182 Request Management page:
    • User Status
    • Identifier
  • The SF-182 Requests - Manage permission can be constrained by User Self and Subordinates
Transcript Logic Updates - Delivery Method and Assignor ID Yes

With this enhancement:

  • By changing the behavior of the Assignor ID, learners and managers are able to self-remove or manager-remove training even after the training is versioned.
  • By changing the behavior of the Transcript Delivery Method, learners and managers will no longer be able to remove training when the training is later assigned to the learner by an administrator.

With this release, administrators can add competency assessment results to the Succession PowerPoint Template Report by selecting a task from the new Competency Task drop-down.

  • Include data from standalone Competency Tasks or Competency Assessments inside Succession tasks.

With this release, administrators no longer have to wait for a reviewer step to start before assigning a co-planner.

Performance Reviews – Batch Assign Co-Planners Yes With this release, administrators can assign a batch of co-planners to a performance review using the Batch Manage Co-Planners option on the Performance Review Tasks Administration page.

With this release, a rich-text editor is provided to use when composing email to candidates. The rich-text editor provides additional formatting and alignment options, such as font size, bold and italicized text, bullets and numbering, and where text is aligned on the page.

Email on Manage Candidates (Early Adopter) – Tags Support Yes

With this release, recruiters can use the new View Tags link in the Message section of the email fly-out to select tags that contain the text used to populate an email message. When the email is sent, the tags are resolved and replaced with the relevant text.

Manage Candidates Profile – Allow Access to Flattened Application Yes

With this release, users with access to the Manage Candidates Profile page click the Download Application link in the Applicant Summary section to download the .pdf or flattened application that contains the documents the candidate uploaded with their application.

Mobile Friendly Career Site – Do Not Allow to Apply Yes With this release, when a requisition has the “Do Not Allow to Apply” setting enabled, the Apply button is disabled in mobile-friendly career sites when viewing the requisition and the text “Unavailable for Application” is displayed instead.
Reset Candidate Password Enhancement Yes With this release, when a candidate password is reset, the system will now validate that the new password is unique and does not duplicate a previously used password for the account. Prior to this enhancement, there was no such validation when a candidate's password was reset.
VONQ Job Post Integration Available for self-activation in Edge Marketplace.
