Content Anytime - Q1 Updates |
Refreshes to Content Anytime and a La Carte subscriptions occur every month. New titles are added to libraries monthly and removals occur quarterly. Content Anytime subscribers automatically receive subscription refreshes. Target dates for Q2 refreshes are listed below. Please refer to the 2022 Content Refresh Calendar for the timing of refreshes for all of 2022.

Data Load Wizard - User Loads: Default Password Setting Enhancement | Yes, a phased rollout | With this enhancement, when a default password is enabled for a portal, then the checkbox “Assign default password to new users” will be checked and disabled, and radio buttons for Top Corporate Password or custom password will no longer display for Data Load Wizard User Loads. Users created via the Data Load Wizard User Load will have their password set per the default password preferences. |
Default Password Management | Yes, a phased rollout | With this enhancement, a new Default Password Management tab will be visible on the existing Password Preferences page. Here, administrators can set a portal-wide default password, change the default password, and manage default password rules such as lifespan and expiration date. Furthermore, default passwords must comply with the password complexity rules defined on the General tab in Password Preferences. The Default Password Management feature is compatible with all interfaces involving user creation. The default password set in Default Password Management is applicable for any new user that is created. Administrators can use the Default Password Email Reminder Template in Email Administration to setup email reminders to be notified prior to default password expiration. |
Deprecation of Compensation Loads for Data Load Wizard (DLW) to Begin with the November '22 Release | The ability to perform Compensation loads using Data Load Wizard (DLW) will begin to be deprecated with the November 2022 Release. Data Load Wizard Compensation loads and feeds include Employee Salary, Salary Structure and Individual Targets. | |
Deprecation of Custom Reports to Begin in August 2022 | The deprecation of Custom Reports is targeted to start with phase 1 occurring in the August ’22 Release. This target date gives customers time to prepare and to complete their migration to Reporting 2.0. In the meantime, Cornerstone will also continue to further enhance Reporting 2.0. | |
Deprecation of Learning Loads for Data Load Wizard (DLW) with the May '22 Release | Ability to perform learning data loads using Data Load Wizard will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the May ‘22 Release. Defects will no longer be fixed, and Data Load Wizard Learning Loads will no longer be visible or accessible in customer portals. | |
Deprecation of Reporting 2.0 Word and XML Export Formats with the May '22 Release | Word and XML report export formats are being deprecated with the May ’22 Release as part of the larger initiative to deprecate the use of SSRS. Customers exporting or downloading their Reporting 2.0 reports in Word and/or XML formats are encouraged to switch to any of the other available formats in advance of the May ‘22 deprecation. | |
Deprecation of Users and Organizational Unit (OU) Loads and Feeds for Data Load Wizard (DLW) to Begin with the May '22 Release | Ability to perform Users and OU data loads and feeds using Data Load Wizard (DLW) will be deprecated with an end-of-life in the May ‘22 Release for most customers. End-of-support for most customers occurred in the February ‘22 Release and support for defects related to DLW Users and OU loads and feeds also stopped at this time. | |
Developer Portal Preview | Cornerstone is excited to share that with the August '22 release, the current API Explorer will be replaced with a new Developer Portal. A preview will be available in a post-release patch. | |
Edge Import - Learning Load Enhancement (ILT Events and ILT Sessions Loads) | Yes, when using Edge Import |

Linking Similar Skills | Yes | With the May ’22 Release, administrators now have an option to manually link their custom skill to a similar skill in the Cornerstone Skills Graph, ensuring this skill will appear in suggestions and will feed learning recommendations. |
May '22 Language Pack Updates | Yes | New updates to Cornerstone Language Packs and additional languages are available with the May '22 Release. Please visit the May '22 Language Pack Updates posting to review the full list of changes and their targeted availability in stage and production environments. |
New Standard Report - Reporting 2.0 Delivery Log | Yes |
Customers will be able to see the status and a log of their report deliveries via a new Standard Report, Reporting 2.0 Delivery Log. Scheduled reports that are sent to an FTP or sent through email will be included. The report will show entries for reports that have either been delivered successfully or for which delivery has failed. When generation and delivery is still in progress for a certain report, this report will not be included in the delivery log output. This report supports 100,000 rows of data and will include several filter options. |
New Standard Report - Reporting 2.0 Report Details | Yes | A new standard report is available to System Administrators which will allow admins to extract a list showing all reports that have been created within the portal. The report will be available within the System section of Standard Reports. It will include several filter options and the maximum number of rows supported is 100,000. Because this is an Admin report, the report will not be constrainable. |
Relationship Diagrams for Data Exporter API | Yes |
Customers who use the Data Exporter API (DE API) gain the ability to generate diagrams that show the relationship between objects in an instant, without the need to navigate lengthy text documents. Using a new endpoint, developers and integrations specialist can choose a mode (Basic, Detail, or Relations) and add the names of the objects to generate diagrams that illustrate the relationship between those objects, saving time and lessening effort. |

Reporting 2.0 - Report Level Permission Model (Open Beta) |

A new Reporting 2.0 Report Level Permission Model is available in stage as an Open Beta, in addition to the already existing Reporting 2.0 Granular Permission Model. Customers can choose whether to keep the existing Reporting 2.0 granular permissions, or to start using the new, simpler, report level permissions. Additionally, a Reporting 2.0 Permissions Enablement Tool is provided to help customers validate how permissions will be migrated and decide how to continue. Switching to the new model is optional, migration options and validation tools will be available to support customers with the initial setup. This enhancement is not available during UAT. |

Skills Quick Start Wizard | Yes |
With this enhancement, a new Skills Quick Start Wizard is now available. The Skills Quick Start Wizard administrator experience guides administrators through the key steps of implementing or optimizing their Skills framework. The experience provides detailed text that explains concepts and best practices, and it provides links to useful resources and Capability administrative tools. Each step is automatically marked complete as administrators progress through the wizard, tracking progress towards completion. Even if an organization has already enabled Capabilities, the Skills Quick Start Wizard can still be launched to refine the existing configuration or learn about new concepts and features that may not be in use with the current deployment. |
