What's New for the 9 March 2018 Patch Release

Core	Employee API	With this enhancement, a REST API framework which enables organizations to create, update, and receive user data in real time is available. With the March 9 patch, this functionality is available in Production portals.
Learning	Learning Playlists	With this enhancement, playlists are available for use with the Learner Home page and Global Search, allowing curators to easily demonstrate their expertise, share knowledge, and guide others professionally by creating shareable collections of learning content. Playlists can be comprised of internal training, such as online classes, materials, videos, and more. Using playlists, learners at an organization can continue developing themselves using resources compiled by successful users with similar career paths.
Learning	Transcript Status Report Enhancements	Note: This functionality was announced with the 9 February 2018 release but is being released as part of the 9 March 2018 patch release. With this enhancement, the Training Version field is added to the Transcript Status standard report, to the right of the Training Title column. In addition, when exporting to Excel, an output limit warning will now display if the number of records exceeds the allowable maximum.
Recruiting	Preview Application Workflow	With this enhancement, you can now preview mobile-friendly application workflows prior to saving the workflow so that you can reconfigure as necessary to achieve the right set-up for your application.
View	View People Enhancements	With this enhancement, SSO support is added for the deep link that appears in the email when sharing lists from the My Lists page. This allows the shared users to open the list directly from the email without being prompted to log in to the portal. In addition, administrators can determine the click behavior of the user card. Prior to this enhancement, the user card opened the employee's profile within View People. With this enhancement, administrators can redirect to the employee's profile or a specific tab on their Universal Profile page.
