Assignment Tool - Edit Email Settings

Grants the administrator the ability to edit email settings of dynamic learning assignments.

This permission can be constrained by User’s OU, Standard, and custom OUs. This is an administrator permission.

Content Manager - Default Template Material - View Grants ability to view the Content Manager default templates and properties for materials. Learning - Administration
Content Manager - View Grants ability to access the Content Manager page. This works in conjunction with the Course Catalog - View and/or Course Catalog - Update permissions. Learning - Administration
Express Class - Revert

Grants administrators the ability to revert completed submissions through Express Class. Specifically, it supports the revert of Learning Objects (LOs) such as Material, Online Courses, and Events, whether they are standalone or part of curricula. This is an administrator permission.

Express Class - Summary Grants the ability to access the summary page for submissions through Express Class. Additionally, it allows for the display of the button Express Class Summary on the Express Class landing page. This is an administrator permission. Learning - Administration
Training Model - Manage Grants ability to access Training Model Manage page and to create and edit Training Models. This is an administrator permission. Learning - Administration
Training Model - Owner Grants ability for those designated as owner of one or more existing Training Models to make edits/updates to those Training Models. This is an administrator permission. Learning - Administration
Training Model - View Grants access to view the Training Models in the Training Model Manage page. This is an administrator permission. Learning - Administration
Training model Preferences - Manage Grants ability to access Training Model Manage page and update training model ownership. This is system administrator permission. Learning - Administration

Enhanced Permissions

The following existing permissions are enhanced for this release:

Assign Training with Constraints

This permission grants any Role, User, or Organizational Unit (standard and custom, including groups) the ability to assign training to other users. This permission, along with its constraints, seamlessly integrates with the existing Assign Training permission. Users with either the new permission or both will be redirected to a new interface and will use the constraints associated with the Assign Training with Constraints permission. This permission can be constrained by the following:

  • User's direct subordinates
  • User's subordinates

  • User’s Organizational Unit - Standard and Custom

  • Organizational Units (including Groups) - Standard and Custom
  • Provider
  • Training Type
  • Training Item (specific training)

  • Restrict to Employee Relationship

Multiple constraints on the permission between User/OU and LO are treated as AND constraints, whereas constraints between User/OU are treated as OR constraints.
