Guest User Browsing Experience (Early Adopter)

Prior to this enhancement, Extended Enterprise users have encountered difficulties using the current user interface, specifically when browsing the training catalog. This is due to an outdated interface that hampered usability and resulted in a suboptimal user experience.

With this enhancement, the Guest User Browsing Experience ensures users can navigate easily to find and use the training materials. An upgraded and more intuitive layout is implemented to improve navigation and make the interface more intuitive.

The key features include:

  • New Guest User Landing Page
  • Recommendation Carousels
  • Enhanced Learning Search
  • Easy Login and Register Cart Flows
  • Learning Details Page Access
  • Responsive design with refresh UI/ UX

The new Guest User Browsing Experience requires activation via Feature Activation Preferences. To do this, go to ADMIN > TOOLS > LEARNING > LEARNING PREFERENCES > FEATURE ACTIVATION PREFERENCES. In the Activate New Guest User Browsing Experience section, click ACTIVATE.

How Does this Enhancement Benefit My Organization?

  • The browsing experience has been optimized with an improved guest user UI/UX, offering them an intuitive interface similar to consumer-grade standards.
  • Ensures learners get a better, more efficient, and enjoyable browsing experience.

Considerations

  • Other attributes, such as Custom OUs, Groups, etc., under anonymous users OU preferences will be considered in a future release for Training Recommendations.
  • If no training is recommended in any carousel, then the carousel will be hidden on the landing page.
  • Customers should set up training availability and data for the User acceptance testing (UAT) to get better training recommendations on the Guest Landing Page.
  • Guest User Browsing Feature enablement will automatically enable the new Shopping Cart Enhancements tile.
