Edge Import - New Learning Load Type - (Certification Metadata)
A new Certification Metadata load type enables administrators to update Created by, Training Contact, and Owner data for a certification, which can sometimes be necessary when users leave an organization or become inactive.
The following field is required for the data load:
- Certification ID
Considerations
When the Created by value is modified for a certification, this change is reflected in the certification's Modification History.
Implementation
This functionality is automatically enabled for existing Edge Import customers. Access is controlled by the new permission. Administrators must also have the new permission to update the Created by field.
Feeds and Bulk API are not currently supported.
The Template Guides in Edge Import will be available to support this new load type.
Permissions
The following new permissions apply to this functionality:
