Cornerstone Learning Connector for ADP® Next Gen HCM
The Cornerstone Learning Connector for ADP® Next Gen HCM is an API-based solution that allows for centralized management of user and organizational unit (OU) data in ADP to avoid redundant data entry in the Cornerstone portal. This connector is sold as a bundled solution along with the Cornerstone Learning Single Sign-On for ADP® Next Gen HCM integration.
This connector includes the following features:
- One-way transfer of active user and OU data from ADP to the Cornerstone portal
- Run the sync in full or delta mode
- Sync either User data, OU data, or both
- User-friendly OU mapping
- Summary after the sync via email notification.

Can the scheduled run time be modified?
No, the integration run time is currently not configurable.
I have copied the configurations from my Pilot environment. Why did the integration fail in my Production environment even though it worked in my Pilot environment?
Each environment has a different ADP subscription token. Please follow the following steps:
- Erase the Subscription Token, Client ID, and Client Secret in Production.
- Populate the Subscription Token with the production app subscription token.
- Verify that you are using the correct subscription token by reviewing the subject line in the Subscription Token email notification, which indicates the environment in which the token is valid.
- Save the setting to allow the integration to populate the Client ID and Secret.
- Enable and test the integration again.
How can I ensure no duplicate records are created in my Cornerstone portal?
The integration compares the User IDs for existing users in your Cornerstone portal with those synced from the Cornerstone Learning Connector for ADP® Next Gen HCM. To prevent duplicate records, the existing User ID values should either be ADP’s Associate ID, Email Address, or Position ID. Please configure the integration accordingly.
Does the integration support future terminations?
No, the integration does not support future terminations.
Implementation
The Cornerstone Learning Connector for ADP® Next Gen HCM is available for self-activation in the ADP US Marketplace for customers with Cornerstone portals in LAX or US swim lanes.
This connector is sold as a bundled solution along with the Cornerstone Learning Single Sign-On for ADP® Next Gen HCM integration.
To enable this connector:
- Purchase the app on the ADP US Marketplace.
- You will receive an email with a subscription token.
- Install the integration from the Edge Marketplace in Cornerstone.
- Configure the settings and OU mapping from the Edge Integration tile and save the settings.
Setup information will be provided in the integration guide.
Important Note: The Cornerstone ADP Next Gen HCM Tile will be available in the Edge Marketplace immediately after the July 29, 2024, release. The tile will be available in the ADP US Marketplace soon.
