Snapshot Access to Inactive Users
Previously, when someone left an organization or was on long-term leave, administrators could not access the person's snapshot folder because of their inactive status. Administrators had to reactivate the user to view their Snapshot page and then inactivate them again.
With this enhancement, administrators who can access the Universal Profile Snapshot of active users now also have expanded access and can view the Snapshot of users who have become inactive. This enhancement enables organizations to efficiently manage terminations and other processes after employees have left the organization or are on leave.
All areas of Snapshot are available, including documents, performance reviews, compensation statements, and more.
Access the Snapshot for an Inactive User
To access the Snapshot for inactive users:
- Go to Admin > Users, search for the user using the “Inactive” filter, and select the user. This opens the user's User Record within the Universal Profile.
- Navigate to the user's Snapshot page.
How Does this Enhancement Benefit My Organization?
Administrators can now access information and perform actions for employees who have left the organization or who are on long-term leave.
Considerations
No changes have been made to the "Global Search" feature or any other views, such as My Team. It is not possible to view the Snapshot of inactive users via these interfaces.
Implementation
This functionality is automatically enabled for all organizations. Enhanced access to view the Snapshot of inactive users is automatically granted to all administrators who previously had access to active users' Snapshots.
