"Failed" Status for Online Content
Prior to this enhancement, Online Content did not support a “Failed” status, and failed Online Content usually remained in an “In Progress” status. This meant that users, managers, and administrators could not tell if the user was indeed "In Progress" or if they had failed and were stuck "In Progress."
With this enhancement, the Online Content LO type displays a “Failed” status, allowing the users, managers, and administrators to differentiate between an Online Content course that is in progress and an Online Content course that has failed.
Note: This functionality is already available for AICC and SCORM 1.2/2004 courses.
The key features of this enhancement are as follows:
- It displays a “failed” status in the user’s transcript.
- In Reporting 2.0, the “Transcript Status” field will show a value of "Failed” and the “Passed” field will show a value of “No.”
- It provides Edge Import Online Content transcript support for the “Failed” status.
