Predict Proficiency for Skills You Are Developing
Previously, predicted proficiency scores were exclusively calculated for "Your Skills" and "Critical Skills."
With this enhancement, predicted proficiency scores are available for "Skills you're developing." Users now receive predicted proficiency scores for the skills they are developing based on profile indicators such as work experience, declared skills, and ratings.
Administrator Managed Proficiency Scores
With this enhancement, administrators can recalculate predicted proficiency scores using a new proficiency score recalculation setting in Capabilities Preferences, eliminating the need to submit a work order for this task.
Within Capabilities Preferences, a new Proficiency Score Recalculation section is available. Administrators should recalculate proficiency scores when there is a change in logic for any backend attributes such as proficiency levels or rating scales. Customers may also recalculate predicted proficiency scores if they observe any unexpected data regarding predicted proficiency scores.
To access Proficiency Score Recalculation Preferences, go to
. Then, select the Proficiency Score Recalculation tab.
Additional Timeline Filter to Track “Your Critical Skills” Progress
Previously, it was only possible to view six months of data when viewing proficiency progress via the Critical Skills Progress flyout.
With this enhancement, a timeline filter is available with an option to view either 6 months or 12 months of data.
To view the Critical Skills Progress Tracking flyout, go to View critical skills link. Then, select the Heartbeat icon .
. Then, click the Skills tab and view your skills profile. In the Critical Skills section, select the
Removal of Predicted Proficiency Permission
Previously, administrators could add or remove the "Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View" permission from any security role, but doing so inadvertently disrupted other system functionalities.
With this enhancement, the "Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View" permission is removed from portals. Since predicted proficiency operates more as a service than a feature, removing this permission does not impact the ability of managers to view proficiencies for their subordinates.
