Include neighboring skills in Skills Profile suggestions
Previously, skills were suggested to users based only on their profile data and learning completions. When a user accepted or rejected all suggested skills, it was possible that no additional skills were suggested to the user in the Skills You Might Have section of the Skills Profile.
With this release, skill suggestions are provided based on the skills the user has declared. For example, if a user indicates they have the agile project management skill, the Skills Profile may suggest agile methodologies, scrum, and software project management as skills the user might have.
To access the Skills Profile page, go to
. Then, click the Skills tab.Hide Recommendations only for suggested skills
Previously, the Hide Recommendations option was available for skills in the Skills You Want to Develop, Your Skills, and Skills You Might Have sections of the Skills Profile.
With this release, the Hide Recommendations option is removed from skills in the Skills You Want to Develop and Your Skills sections. This option is now only available for skills in the Skills You Might Have section.
To access the Skills Profile page, go to
. Then, click the Skills tab.Remove the User option from the Capability Models organizational unit selector
Due to a system limitation, the User organizational unit (OU) type was removed from the Select Your Audience OU selector when creating a Capability Model. Administrators who want to associate specific users with a Capability Model can do so with the Groups OU type.
Existing models where administrators have configured the audience using Users are unaffected by this change. In such models, when the OU selector is opened, the flyout will not display the selected user data.
To create a Capability Model, go to
. Then, select the button.
Require administrators to select an organizational unit and a skill for Capability Models
When creating a Capability Model, administrators are required to select an OU and a skill before defining Capability Targets.
If the administrator has not selected at least one OU and skill, the Define Capability Targets toggle on the Capability Targets tab is disabled, and targets cannot be defined.
To create a Capability Model, go to
. Then, select the button.Clarify proficiency target options in Capability Models
Previously, when defining capability targets for a Capability Model, the text describing the options did not clearly indicate the outcome of each choice.
With this release, the following option labels are updated to explain the outcome of each choice more clearly.
- Set the same targets for all selected OUs
- Set different targets for selected OUs
To create a Capability Model, go to
. Then, select the button.
Rename Learning Recommendations in Skill Details toggle in Capability Preferences
In the Capability Preferences > Skills Profile page, the Learning Recommendations in Skill Details toggle is renamed to Show Related Learning in Skill Details. This makes the toggle name clearer for administrators.
