Default Resume Sections (Universal Profile)

The following default sections are available by default in the Universal Profile Resume functionality:

  • Previous Position
  • Current Position
  • Prior Experience
  • Education
  • Skills
  • Key Accomplishments
  • Competencies
  • Awards
  • Certifications
  • Licenses
  • Role/Experience
  • Special Training/Development
  • Background Experience
  • Internal Positions

These sections are configurable and can be deleted or made inactive.

Previous Position

By default, the following fields appear in the Previous Position section:

  • Position Title - Short text box
  • Date Range - Date range picker
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Current Position

By default, the following fields appear in the Current Position section:

  • Position Title - Short text box
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Prior Experience

By default, the following fields appear in the Prior Experience section:

  • Company Name - Short text box
  • Date Range - Date range picker
  • Position Title - Short text box
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Education

By default, the following fields appear in the Education section:

  • University Name - Attribute list predictive search for bank of university names
  • Institution - Short text box
  • Degree - Drop-down
  • Degree In Progress - Checkbox
  • Highest Degree Obtained - Checkbox
  • Graduation Date - Date picker
  • Major - Short text box
  • Minor - Short text box
  • Details - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Skills

By default, the following fields appear in the Skills section:

  • Skill Name - Predictive search for bank of skills
    • This field is in position 1 and cannot be moved.
    • This field is always required.
  • Years of Experience - Short numerical text box
  • Proficiency - Single select drop-down
  • Last Used - Date picker
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Key Accomplishments

By default, the following fields appear in the Key Accomplishments section:

  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Competencies

The Competencies section is linked to the Competency Assessment module, which provides this section with competencies and ratings. This functionality is unchanged.

Awards

By default, the following fields appear in the Awards section:

  • Award - Single select drop-down
  • Award Date - Date picker
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Certifications

By default, the following fields appear in the Certifications section:

  • Certification - Single select drop-down
  • Date Received - Date picker
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Licenses

By default, the following fields appear in the Licenses section:

  • License - Single select drop-down
  • Date Received - Date picker
  • Expiration Date - Date picker
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Role/Experience

By default, the following fields appear in the Role/Experience section:

  • Role/Experience - Predictive search for an administrator defined list
  • Date Range - Date range picker
  • Current Role - Checkbox
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Special Training/Development

By default, the following fields appear in the Special Training/Development section:

  • Title - Short text box
  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Background Experience

By default, the following fields appear in the Background Experience section:

  • Description - Scrolling text box (Rich text editor)

Internal Positions

The Internal Positions section is populated with a new internal position whenever any of the selected OUs are changed for the user. All existing OU selection criteria are available. Fields that are automatically created by the system (OU and Date Range) are always read-only and are never editable by end users on the Resume page. Administrators are able to add additional fields to this section, which may be edited by end users. Note: This section only shows positions dating back to 2011, when the Internal Positions feature was implemented.

By default, the following fields appear in the Internal Positions section:

  • First OU - Static text
  • Second OU (if applicable) - Static text
  • Third OU (if applicable) - Static text
  • Fourth OU and beyond - Static text
  • Date Range for First OU - Static text
  • Date Range for Second OU (if applicable) - Static text
  • Date Range for Third OU (if applicable) - Static text
