Instructor-Led Training (ILT) events are instructor-led training courses that contain general information about the course, such as the description, the objectives, the vendor, and the subjects. Because there are typically many instances of one course held at different times and locations by different instructors, every event can occur at a variety of times and places. In the system, these scheduled instances of an event are referred to as sessions. Events contain some default session information, such as the course prerequisites, the course evaluation, and the registration procedures, but these defaults may be modified at the session level.

Process to Create Events   Additional Information   Training and Troubleshooting Resources

To create an event, navigate to the Manage Events and Sessions page and click the Create New Event link and proceed through the following steps:

  1. Step 1 - Properties
  2. Step 2 - Availability
  3. Step 3 - Pricing
  4. Step 4 - Training Units
  5. Step 5 - Session Defaults

After creating an event, you can Create a Session for the event.
