QUICK START GUIDE - Updating Courses via Course Publisher
- Checklists are aids that help you review configuration settings and follow best practices prior to testing. Be sure to test the functionality fully in your Pilot portal before releasing to end users.
- When an online course needs to be updated, there are two options available within Course Publisher: Replace Publication Files, and Creating a New Version (of Existing Course).
- If making a structural change to the course (e.g. adding branching, quizzes, new slides, options, etc.) you will need to create a new version of the existing course. If making a change that does not alter the file structure of the course (e.g. changing text on an existing screen) you will be able to replace the publication files. This checklist covers both instances.
