To access the Objective Category Administration page, go to, and in the Development Plan section, select .

To search for an objective category by name, enter the category name in the search field and click thebutton.
To view only active objective categories in the display, select the Hide Inactive Fields option.
To add an objective category, click thelink. A pop-up appears where you specify the objective category name. The character limit for this field is 100. After entering a name, click Save. The new category appears in the list of objective categories.
To make an objective category active or inactive, select or deselect the Active option next to the category and click . Objective categories are active when this option is selected. When a category is inactive, it is not available for selection within the system.
For each existing category, in the Options column you can perform the following actions:
- Localize/Edit - Either the Localize or Edit option is available for each item.
- Localize - If multiple languages are enabled for your portal, select the Translate icon to translate the field into other available languages. This option also enables you to edit the category name for the default language.
- Edit - If multi-language is not enabled, click this icon to edit the category name. This opens a pop-up where you can modify the name. Click Save to update your changes.
- Delete - Click this icon to delete the category. This option is only available if it is not in use for any objective. If you cannot delete it because it is in use, it can be deactivated using the Active checkbox.
