Custom Reporting Field Descriptions - Course Interaction

Click here to download the list of Reporting 2.0 field descriptions, updated May 2022. This Excel spreadsheet provides descriptions for the fields in Reporting 2.0. This list is updated when there are changes to existing fields or new fields are added. Currently, the list is in English only. Note that it may be necessary to scroll through the sheets on the Excel spreadsheet in order to access the first sheet.
The following fields related to mobile learning are available in the Course Interaction report field section.
This field displays the platform used to launch an online course: Browser, the iOS Cornerstone Learn app, or the Android Cornerstone Learn app. Possible output values include:
Note: Activity in the legacy Cornerstone app on laptops, and activity in the Android Learn app on personal computers and in browsers on mobile devices, will show as “Browser” in the Platform field.
||This field returns a timestamp that shows when a user launches an online course either inside or outside of the mobile app(s).
||This field returns a timestamp that shows when a user closes an online course either inside or outside of the mobile app(s).
|Course Time Spent
||This field is the duration of time spent in a given online course during a session either inside or outside of the mobile app(s).
||This indicates the status of the course progress after a user closes the course within a session either inside or outside of the mobile app(s). If the course was not finished, the value for this field is No. If the course was finished, the value for this field is Yes.
Course Interaction Considerations
The following considerations apply to the fields contained within the Course Interaction field section:
- All fields in the Course Interaction section only return data for SCORM 2004 courses.
- Course Interaction fields apply to training consumed in both the iOS and Android Learn applications.
- Course Interaction fields can only return data gathered after the release of this functionality. Data cannot be retrieved retroactively.
