Batch Process Step 2 - Select Applicants

The second step of the Batch Process functionality is to select the applicants to process.

Select Applicants

Applicants can be selected individually, or they can be batch selected.

Select Individual Applicants

To select individual applicants for a group, click the 1, 2, or 3 button in the left column of the applicant row. This changes the button color from gray to blue to indicate that the applicant has been selected.

The grouping buttons that are available to select is dependent upon the selection in the Number of Selection Buttons drop-down. See Batch Process Step 1 - Select Number of Groups.

Batch Select Applicants

To batch select applicants for a group, click the 1, 2, or 3 button in the left column of the applicant row. This changes the button color from gray to blue to indicate that the button has been selected.

When grouping applicants, the total number of applicants who can be grouped is 100. This applies to creating one group, two groups, or three groups. For example, if one group is created, there can be no more than 100 applicants in the group. If three groups are created, there can be no more than 100 applicants total in Groups 1, 2, and 3 combined. The Group Selector feature that displays in the upper-right corner of the Manage Applicants page indicates the number of applicants who have been placed into each group.

The grouping buttons that are available to select is dependent upon the selection in the Number of Selection Buttons drop-down. See Batch Process Step 1 - Select Number of Groups.

Changing the Individual or Batch Selection

When individual applicants are selected, the selection can be changed by clicking a different group number in the applicant row. Or, click the group number button again to deselect the applicant for that group.

When applicants are batch selected, the selection for an individual applicant can be changed by clicking a different group number. Or, you can click the batch select button again to deselect all batch selected applicants.

Selecting or changing the batch selection group number in the top row of the Applicants table deselects all applicants in the previously selected groups.

Search Filters

When the search filters are used after grouping selections are made, the grouping selections are preserved when the Search button is clicked and the results in the Applicants table are updated.

Multiple Pages of Applicants

When option 1 is selected in the Number of Selection Buttons drop-down, and there are multiple pages of applicants in the Applicants table, then navigating to the next or previous page does not preserve any applicant selections made on the other pages.

When options 2 or 3 are selected in the Number of Selection Buttons drop-down, and there are multiple pages of applicants, then navigating to the next or previous page preserves any applicant selections made on the other pages.
