Content Studio - Manage Content Refresh - Upcoming Removals

The Manage Content Refresh - Upcoming Removals page provides a single page where content administrators can view what content is about to be retired, when it will be retired, and what content can be used to replace the retired content. The page also provides insights on the impact of removing the retired course. This page enables content administrators to understand and prepare for upcoming content changes in their portal.

To access Content Studio, go to Content > Content Studio. Then, select the Content Studio link.

To view the Manage Content Refresh page, select the Configuration menu, and then select the Manage content refresh option. The Upcoming removals tab is selected by default.

Download CSV

Select the Download CSV button to download the list of courses that are scheduled for retirement.

List of Expiring Content

The following information is listed for each course that is scheduled for retirement:

  • Content title
  • Provider
  • Collection is part of - This displays the number of collections in which the course is included.
  • Total learners last quarter - This displays the total number of users in your organization who interacted with the course over the three months prior to when the data was last refreshed. Data is generally updated at the beginning of each month.
  • Total learners all time - This displays the total number of users in your organization who interacted with the course at any time.
  • Date of removal - This displays the date on which the course will no longer be available.

Review Replacement Content

Select the Review button to review the impact of the course being removed from your collections. See Content Studio - Upcoming Removals - Review Retired Content and Replacement.
