Content Studio - View Course Details

The Course Details page displays all of the critical information about the course. Administrators and content curators can also launch the course from this page, allowing them to preview the content as they browse new subscriptions or as they curate new collections for their organization.

The Course Details page can be accessed from many areas within Content Studio, including when browsing content subscriptions and when curating collections of content.

To access Content Studio, go to Content > Content Studio. Then, select the Content Studio link.

To view the details of a course, within Content Studio, select the appropriate course tile.

Access Content Studio Grants ability to access Content Studio from the Cornerstone CSX application. This permission cannot be constrained. This is an administrator permission. System Administration

Launch Course

Select the Launch course button to open and play the course in a new browser tab or window.

This is important for administrators and curators, allowing them to preview the content as they browse new subscriptions or as they curate new collections for their organization.

Course Overview

The course header displays the following information about the course:

  • Modalities
  • Duration
  • Languages
  • Content Partner
  • Subscriptions - This displays all subscriptions with which the content is associated, including any content partner subscriptions.

Course Overview and Usage Data

The course header displays the following usage data for the course:

  • Time Frame
  • Last Synced - This displays the date on which the consumption metrics were last updated.
  • Registrations
  • Completions
  • Time Spent

The usage data reflects usage across all Cornerstone Content customers. This enables administrators and content curators to understand the popularity of a course which may be helpful when making a subscription purchasing decision or when curating a new collection.
