Content Studio - Create a Collection

Content curators can create collections in Content Studio using any purchased or proprietary content that is available in your organization's learning catalog. A collection is a curated set of content for a single purpose. The collection can then be published to the Cornerstone CSX Learning environment as a playlist to be consumed by learners.

To access Content Studio, go to Content > Content Studio. Then, select the Content Studio link.

To create a collection, go to Curation > Explore collections. Then, select the New collection button.

Enter the following information for your collection:

  • Name - The collection name appears on the collection tile when browsing collections and in the collection header when viewing the collection details. This should clearly identify the purpose of the content collection. This automatically becomes the playlist name when the collection is published.
  • Description - The collection description appears in the collection header when viewing the collection details. This should provide a clear and brief overview of the collection. This automatically becomes the playlist description when the collection is published.
  • Cover Image - Select an image for the collection. The selected image appears on the collection tile when browsing collections and in the collection header when viewing the collection details. To upload a new image, select the Edit icon in the lower-right corner of the Card Preview. The maximum file size is 1MB, and the recommended image ratio is 2:1. This automatically becomes the playlist header image when the collection is published.
  • Languages - Select the language associated with the collection.

After setting the collection details, select Create. Once the collection is created, you can add courses to it. See Content Studio - Add Courses to a Collection.
