Core Functions

The Core Functions page in Admin Tools includes links to manage cross-platform settings that are core to every day talent management.

The visibility of this page and the links on the page are dependent upon the functionality that is available for the portal and the administrator's permissions. The permissions associated with each functionality vary based on the access requirements of the functionality. If the administrator does not have permission to access a functionality, then the link to the functionality does not display. If the administrator does not have permission to access any of the functionality on the product page, then the product page link does not display on the Configuration Tools page.

For portals with multiple languages enabled, the links in the user's language.

The following links are available, depending on the portal's configuration and the administrator's security permissions:

Custom Field Administration Click this link to open the Custom Field Administration page, from which to view and manage custom fields. See Custom Field Administration.
Email Digest Management Click this link to open the Email Digest Management page, from which to view and manage email digests. See Email Digest Management.
Email Management Click this link to open the Email Management page, from which to view and manage emails. See Email Administration.
Employee Relationships Click this link to open the Employee Relationships page, from which to view and define employee relationships. See Employee Relationships Administration.
Form Management Click this link to open the Form Management page, from which to view and manage form tasks, create forms, and manage the forms question bank. See Form Management - Overview.
Marketing Communications Click this link to open the Marketing Communications page, from which to view and manage marketing emails and templates. See Marketing Communications Administration.
Organizational Units

Click this link to open the Organizational Units page, from which to view and manage organizational unit types and hierarchy, as well as self registration groups. See Organizational Units Overview.

Point-In-Time Headcount Click this link to export a point-in-time view of your employee records by downloading the data to a text file. See Point-in-Time Headcount Details Report.
Security Role Administration Click this link to open the Security Role Administration page, from which to view and manage security roles. See Security Roles Administration.
Universal Profile Click this link to open the Universal Profile page, from which to manage and configure different aspects of the Universal Profile. See Universal Profile Overview.
