Ability to Reset Client ID and Secret for Webex Control Hub

Prior to this enhancement, administrators working with Webex vILT integration had to contact Global Customer Support (GCS)to reset the Webex Control Hub Client ID and secret key.

With this enhancement, administrators can now reset the Client ID and secret key to generate a new token.

Administrators can reset the Client ID and secret key by going to ILT > Vendors & Instructors > Edit Vendor > Webex Control Hub Settings.

To reset Client ID and secret key:

  1. On the Webex Control Hub Settings page, select the Reset button. The current Client ID and secret key is removed from CSOD. A new token is created.
  2. Follow the instructions under the How to set up your Webex Control hub integration section to reset the Client ID and secret key.


This functionality is automatically enabled for all organizations using the Learning module with a Webex vILT integration using Control Hub.
