Custom E-Signature Message for Sessions

Prior to this enhancement, Learning administrators using e-signature were unable to customize messages presented to Learners for Sessions.

With this enhancement, if an e-signature message is added to an event in the catalog, this custom message will be presented to the learner for the session. This ensures relevancy and clarity for the Learners signing a session completion message.

Administrators can enable this enhancement by going to Admin > Tools > Learning > Learning Preferences > Default Training Completion Signature. On the Default Training Completion Electronic Signature Preferences page, under Change Default to Course Catalog, click the Activate button. Note: It is not necessary to check any of the training check boxes on this page as they no longer apply.

Once enabled, the message shown to a Learner is the message configured for the specific Learning object in the catalog, or, if blank, the default division for their message.

If an event requires electronic signature but has no signature message configured, the Learner sees the default message configured for their Division under Learning Preferences > Training Completion Signature.

How Does this Enhancement Benefit My Organization?

  • Administrators can use custom messages for e-signature for any LO object type.
  • Learners now see a relevant message when signing for the completion of a session.
