Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View Permission

In March, Cornerstone released two major skills projects that use the Predicted Proficiency service: People Matrix and Capability Model Targets. Customers were experiencing issues with these features as a permission (Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View) was added for the service but was only enabled for administrators. It is not evident that customers should be enabling the permission in order to take advantage of the functionality.

With this patch, the Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View permission is immediately enabled for everyone in all portals to minimize engagement with Cornerstone Global Customer Support.

Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View

Grants access to view the predicted proficiency level for a user's skill. This permission can be constrained to User, OU, User's OU, User's Self, User Self and Subordinates, and User's Direct Subordinates. The constraints on this permission determine for which user the predicted skill proficiency levels are visible. This is a manager permission. As of the April 14, 2023 patch, this permission is automatically available in the default role for all users.

Upon release, the Capabilities - Predicted User Proficiency Levels - View permission is automatically granted to the Default Role for Every User in the System role.
