Reporting 2.0 - Calculated Fields Enhancements

With this release, the following enhancements are made to the Calculated Fields functionality:

  • Include multiple check-box custom fields in calculated fields
  • Ability to select 0 as an option for Decimal Points in numeric Calculated Fields

Include multiple check-box custom fields in calculated fields

Prior to this enhancement, Reporting 2.0 did not provide users the ability to include multiple check-box custom fields. With this enhancement, users can build calculated fields that include values from multiple checkbox custom fields.

Ability to select 0 as option for Decimal Points in numerci Calculated Fields

Prior to this enhancement Reporting 2.0 did not provide users the ability to select 0 as an option for Decimal Points in Calculated Fields, and users get confused the option “None” for 0.

With this enhancement, an option to select 0 the Decimal Point drop-down is available, so that "None" is not confused with 0. When a user selects 0 as a decimal point, it will removes all decimal points for the number and rounds it off to the nearest value e.g., 10.3 will be rounded off as 10 and 10.6 will be rounded off as 11.

Example 1 - no rounding required

When a user requires no rounding then the following approach should be taken: user should select "None" as an option in the Decimal Point drop-down field.
