The Manage Events and Sessions pages, “View All Events” and “View All Sessions,” were updated in Stage environments during the August ’22 Release with a fresh new look to enhance the daily experience for administrators and instructors who often need to visit these pages to maintain classroom and virtual training events and sessions for their organization.
With the November ’22 Release, this new user interface is now available for Production and Pilot environments. This enhancement is available to test now in the Stage environment with additional fixes available to test during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Most subsequent screens, such as the Waitlists page are not yet updated. Please see UI Modifications and Enhancements for other pages newly updated with the November ’22 Release. See UI Modifications and Enhancements - November 2022.
How Does this Enhancement Benefit My Organization?
This enhancement provides a modernized look and feel for the Manage Events and Sessions pages.
While we are confident that most of our customers will see tremendous value in the new enhancements, we also understand that accelerating the pace of innovation means trying new things. And that means changes we make to our products won’t always work for everyone.
To that end, we are releasing our new UI/UX enhancements in Early Adopter mode, and have built guardrails into this release that enable you to maximize value and minimize risk:
We encourage you to take a test drive first: While we’re confident that most of you will find great value in the new UI/UX features, you can make sure they’re right for your team by taking a test drive in STAGE before implementing them in production. The enhancements are automatically enabled in Stage environments for all organizations and can be disabled via the Learning Feature Activation Preferences page (Admin Tools > Learning > Learning Preferences > Feature Activation > User Interface Modifications).
It is your choice to turn on (or off) these new features: You can choose to introduce these new features in production via the Learning Feature Activation Preferences. If there ever comes a time that you want to turn off these features and revert to your prior experience in Production or Stage, you can do so by disabling.
Your feedback is key: We have been receiving customer and have incorporated much of it into this release. As you test and introduce new enhancements to your teams, we want to hear from you! Your input and feedback will help us continue to deliver what you need for your teams and organizations. Please share your feedback with us in Validation Station.
