Enhanced Search on Global Search– Filter Parity and Migration
With this enhancement, administrators can now enable Enhanced Search capabilities or traditional search when using Global Search.
The following filters are available when searching for training in Global Search when Enhanced Search is enabled:
The following custom field data type filters are available to use when searching for training in Global Search when Enhanced Search is enabled:
Title, Keyword, and Description filters are combined into one text filter. Filters use an 'AND' operation, including custom fields, which currently uses an 'OR' operation with traditional search.

Considerations
- The default setting will be set to Enhanced Search. Administrators can change this preference by going to . Scroll to Search Engine and update the setting.
- Enhanced search and traditional search use different frameworks to produce search results. Search results may vary based on the type of search.
Implementation
This functionality is automatically enabled for all organizations using the Global Search.
