SF-182 Request Management

With the May '22 release, users with the permissions to remove and complete SF-182 requests can do so in bulk via the SF-182 Request Management page. In addition, the following updates have been made to the SF-182 Request Management page:

  • The page displays requests that are in a Pending Approval status by default
  • It is possible to view the training details for SF-182 form requests from this page
  • New filters and columns have been added to this page

To access the SF-182 Request Management page, go to the Your Inbox widget on the Welcome page and select the Approve SF-182 Requests link. You can also access the page through the SF-182 Form Management navigation tab.

Bulk Actions

From the SF-182 Request Management page, requests can be approved or denied in bulk using the Bulk Action drop-down menu. The following bulk actions are available from this drop-down:

Pending Approval SF-182 Requests (Default View)

By default, the SF-182 Request Management page is automatically filtered to only display SF-182 forms that are in a Pending Approval status. If you wish to view SF-182 form requests in other statuses, you can select a different status from the Status filter on the SF-182 Request Management page.

New Filters

The following new filtering options have been added to the SF-182 Request Management table:

  • Date Range filter - To apply a date range to the results of your SF-182 request search, select an option from the Date Range filter.
  • Include Inactive Users - Select the Include Inactive Users checkbox to include users who are inactive in the search results. This filter is not selected by default.
  • View Removed - To view SF-182 requests that have been removed, select the View Removed checkbox.

  • Select OU Criteria - The SF-182 Request Management page can be filtered by division, location, and user. Click the Select OU Criteria drop-down menu and choose from Division, Location, or Users to filter the page by that organizational unit (OU).
    • Note: Organizational Unit (OU) filter combinations are not currently supported. For example, if a division is selected as filter criteria, it is not possible to also use a location or user filter.
    • Note: Locations, division, and user filters do not currently have the option to choose a parent and include all child location, division, or users. For example, to select a parent Location and all the child Locations for that parent please select the parent and the individual child locations.

New Table Columns

The following new columns have been added to the SF-182 Request Management table:

  • Identifier - The Identifier column displays the trainee’s Cost Center, Division, Manager, Position and Location organizational units (OUs).​
  • User Status - The User Status column displays the user's current SF-182 request form status.

View Training Details

A View Training Details icon has been added for requests that display on the SF-182 Request Management page. Click this icon to view the Training Details for a request. See SF-182 Forms - View Training Details.
