Reporting 2.0 - Delivery to Email Enhancement

Reports Exceeding 25MB Delivered by Email

With this enhancement, when a report that is set up for email delivery exceeds 25 MB, a link to download the report is sent to the recipient. The report is available to download via the link for 21 days.

Row Limits

Effective 2 February 2021, the row limit for report delivery by email will go back to a maximum of 200,000 for CSV, TSV, and PSV file export formats and will no longer be increasing to 1,000,000.

This is a change from the enhancement that was published in release notes on 27 January 2021 for the February '21 release, which indicated that the row limit for report delivery by email was increasing from 200,000 to 1,000,000 for CSV, TSV, and PSV file export formats.

  • SSO via the email link is not supported in the February ’21 Release but it is being considered as a future enhancement. Logged in users will see a new window pop-up upon clicking the link and the report download will begin. If the email recipient is not logged in prior to clicking the link, they will be prompted to log in before the report download begins.
  • As with existing functionality for reports delivered by email, reports under 25 MB will continue to be sent as an email attachment.

Upon implementation of this enhancement, this functionality is available in all portals using Reporting 2.0.
