vILT Connector (Early Adopter) Enhancements

A Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) connector is available, allowing organizations and partners using Cornerstone to build integrations with the virtual meeting provider of their choosing. This connector allows seamless integration with Cornerstone Learning portals, connects end users to virtual meeting sessions, allows attendance tracking, and provides scheduling tools for instructors.

With the Feb '21 release, the following enhancements have been made to the vILT connector:

• Support for launching a vILT session through email
• Multi-account support
• Support for third party extended options (This enhancement requires partner involvement)

Implementation

This functionality is automatically available for the vILT connector. To enable an integration created using the vILT connector, navigate to the Edge Marketplace.

The following existing permissions apply to this functionality:

Edge Integrations - Manage

Grants access to the Integrations service for Edge Integrate where the administrator can configure, enable, and disable their third-party integrations that are used within the Cornerstone system. This permission cannot be constrained. This is an administrator permission.

Events - Create

Grants ability to create new instructor led training events. This permission works in conjunction with Events - View permission. This permission can be constrained by OU, User's OU, ILT Provider, and User's ILT Provider. This is an administrator permission.

Learning - Administration

Global Email Administration - Manage

Grants ability to manage email trigger templates across all active modules in the portal. Enables creating, editing and deleting email message templates for various system actions and workflows. This permission can be constrained by OU, User's OU, User Self and Subordinates, and User. This is an administrator permission.

Core Administration
